1. Job Description
Title: International Trade / Traffic Coordinator
Industries: Chemical Water Treatment – Cooling towers and boilers
                   Food and rubber antioxidants
                   Sanitizers
                   Industrial chemicals

Location:  San Antonio, TX
Reports to: General Manager
Dealing with shipments from: Ukraine, China, Europe, Brazil, Chile, into the US and Latin America

2. Profile
Education:  International commerce, traffic, customs, logistics
Experience: 3 yrs min in imports/exports, mainly container cargo, preferably in chemicals
Languages: Proficient writing & verbal communication skills.  Fluency in spanish strongly preferred, chinese knowledge is a plus

3. Responsibilities
• Input purchases and sales into Quickbooks
• Purchase order management and follow-up (confirmation, ETD, ETA, documentation, invoicing, etc)

• Assist in account reviews, manages Inventory / Payables / Receivables - supervision and follow up

• Bookeeping - maintain daily records, account reconciliation with banks/vendors/customers, comply with tax filing deadlines

• Ability to manage relationships with customers and suppliers

• Understand chemical product related regulations

4. Required

• Proactive, service driven attitude

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks

• Proven track record coordinating traffic / international trade

• Knowledge of Incoterms and containerized cargo terminology

• Basic accounting / office management skills
